Great book is you are intersted in the Civil War. Not all of the heroes of the Civil War fought on the battfield. Truth Hopkins thought there was nothing a 12 year old girl could do to support t he Union but found her place in delivering loads of hay with a secret cargo - escaped slaves.

If your looking for a great book on the civil war this book is great. the first two chapters are a little slow but after that its good reading so good that i finished in two days.
