I love this book! It is part of a 26 book series. Accusing Alligator is the star of this story. He spends the entire story looking for his shoe and blaming his mostly self-induced problems on others. At the end, Alligator discovers that the missing shoe was misplaced by none other than himself.
Other books in the series represent one animal character for each letter of the alphabet. This is a classic series!
