I just printed 4 DC labels & the weight was wrong on them all. Double check your book weight with Amazon (or like source) to be sure it's the correct postage total. :)

That is why I have a scale to double check weights, if I think the ones that are there are way off.

It is definitely a must to double check weights. Even the wrapping you use can made a difference.

A scale is the best way (weigh) to go. They sell them in the Kiosk here, BTW.

Got a scale a walmart for about $20.  The ones that I posted at the PO were almost all right, if anything I had too many stamps on it and they adjusted it.

I think PBS gets it's info from Amazon so I wouldn't trust that either. Half the time I find that AMazon doesn't even have the right discription for the book listing.

Once you weigh a book you can go to the bottom of any page and click on Edit Book Data and submit the corrected weight for that book. This will correct the database for others.

I take all of my packages to the PO and have them put on the postage.  Obviously, they know me now and it has sort of turned into a game...to see how many of them come out at the same postage that was printed on the label!!  We're running about 50-50!
