We live in the northest (NJ) and planted mostly tomatoes & peppers.  We have plenty of green ones on healthy looking vines, but there is nothing even hinting towards red yet.   I have been harvesting herbs & some spices along with a few cucumbers - but that is it.  Anyone harvesting from their gardens yet?

We have cucumbers and 4 cherry tomatoes so far.  I don't eat cucumbers so I'm thrilled.

My husband potted my cherry tomato but in what, I don't know - something that's really lousy.  I put marigold seeds in it and they sprouted and died.

Me! Lots of tomatoes. I've got some okra that I haven't picked yet, which my guy is really looking forward to snacking on. I'm also harvesting hot cherry peppers, which make for some amazing sauces. Yum!

The tomatoes are just now turning red here in
eastern CT. We've had some cucumbers, squash, lots of green beans and peas, a few green peppers. The eggplant's slow.

My grape tomatoes should be ready to pick in about two days.

Our tomatoes have only started turning red over the past week and a half.  I've already started noticing a change in night time weather and pray we get to harvest the majority before any real cold weather comes.  We started our garden a little later than usual but I didn't think one week could make such a difference in their ripening time.

I got a few more cherry tomatoes, although not from my potted plant.  Our weather has been as low as the 40's at night and I've had the heat running - so not tomato weather!  We have only had a few.  Like Bettyjean, ours were just starting.

DD who grows things in containers a bit south is crazy about the purple string? beans.  DS in MD tried a cucumber and I guess he got a couple before the plant swallowed his balcony :)  I had Sweet 100 cherry tomatoes but DD said she had a lousy one - now I don't know if it was Tumbling Tom or Tiny Tim (I thought it was Tumbling Tim but they don't seem to make that one).

I'm glad some of you got more.  DD just brought home 2 huge cataloupes from the Amish and I guess they have hundreds.
