I have an idea for a mini-challenge that does not involve reading a book. It's a letter game. (More details later.) If there is sufficient interest, the challenge would end at midnight on 11 December.

The winner would have his/her choice of 1 credit or 2 used books from the following list:

  • Green Darkness by Anya Seton
  • A Health Unto His Majesty by Jean Plaidy
  • A Vision of Light by Judith Markle Riley
  • Marie Antoinette by Antonia Fraser
  • Eleanor the Queen by Norah Lofts
  • Mary Queen of France by Jean Plaidy
  • Katharine of Aragon by Jean Plaidy
  • The Rose Without a Thorn by Jean Plaidy
  • The Sixth Wife by Jean Plaidy
  • The Queen's Secret by Jean Plaidy

All of the above books are in very good condition.

Second and third-place winners will receive their choice of a book from the above list after the first-place winner makes his/her selection.

More details about the game after I poll everyone's interest. Please respond in the forum.

You know I'm in! I'm going to trounce Holly, smear her all over the playing field like some creamy peanut butter....

Sorry, Holly, sometimes I get a little overly competititive. :-P

There are several of the listed prize books that I would love to have.  So count me in for the challenge,  And I imagine Kelly will play too.

Might, probably, depends on the nature of the game.

I'm not sure, given how subtly she said it and all,  but I think Valli just threw down the gauntlet ;-)

Bring it on!  Let the game begin!

The game is posted in a separate thread, called End of Year Mini-Challenge, or something like that.
