New post later in thread.

Is there a book on your shelf that you can't believe hasn't been requested?  Not necessarily the oldest, but a book that is appealing, in great shape, and just hasn't moved.

I actually have two, both for kids:  Make It Work!  Electricity - Hands on Approach to Science

 Make It Work!  Flight

Favorite Tales from Grimm A Treasured Collection. It includes 14 stories by Grimm.  It is hardcover with gold leafing on the page edges.

The Nanny Diaries

Devil Wears Prada

Angela's Ashes

Fabulous books, but I really need the room on my shelf and I guess so many people are requesting them from other people and I'm waiting my turn.

My new offering is Better Homes and Gardens Embroidery.  Usually craft books get snapped up quickly but this has been on my shelf since November.

It has 42 projects, including folk embroidery, old-fashioned stitchery, designs from nature, cross-stitch and counted-thread, machine embroidery, special stitchery techniques and glossary.  Projects include wall hangings, pillows, runners, tablecloths, tea cozy, baby quilt, place mats, curtains and pillowcase, and more.  Color photos, sketches and complete directions.

I have some fun chick lit books on my shelf that I thought would go quickly--they are

Lexi James and the Council of Girlfriends by Melissa Jacobs

Thirtynothing by Lisa Jewell

Let's Meet on Platform 8 by Carole Matthews (set in London)

I missed this post first time around, great idea!

Arena by Karen Hancock:

This is a fantastic Christian allegory scifi/fantasy novel. Had 3 wishers when I posted it and none of them took it!

Becoming Olivia by Roxanne Henke in hardcover - there are several wishers for the paperback copy but apparently none of them have discovered this copy. It's the 3rd book in the Brewster series, which is terrific!

The Bachelor by Carly Philips and Cross My Heart by Carly Philips - I'd do a 2 for 1 on them.

My Love Affair With England by Susan Allen Toth

XFiles Book of the Unexplained Volume 1

The Black Velvet Gown by Catherine Cookson  and  Rowing to Latitude by Jill Fredston.  They are both nice hardcovers with dustjackets.

Hope someone orders a book from me soon, I am in need of credits! :)

I've got 2 really sweet books.....The Secret Life Of Bees and Where The Heart Is.

Neither one is the type that I would normaly read, but did, and loved them both!! I've decided to branch out in my reading tastes and I'm finding some great books.

I've got a very diverse shelf, everything except NO children's or young adult books and NO  Sci-Fi. And I'm always willing to make deals. Also have a lot of unpostables on my profile page, 1 free with every order. I add new books several times a week...as I finish reading them or buy them from thrift stores, yard sales, etc. Just aded 18 in the last 2 days.

This is a smoke-free home, but we do have 3 cats, 2 of which climb on the book piles [one is too old to climb anywhere.]

Just finished reading: The Secret Hour by Luanne Rice & Where Are The Children? by Mary Higgins Clark [both are now posted on my shelf.]

Currently reading: Dakota Born by Debbie Macomber [it will be posted when I finish it.]

My TBR pile is so large a friend told me I should open up a library!! I do loan out books to friends, but never the ones that are posted on my shelf.
