Why is it so difficult to get a simple answer on the USPS website?   I just wan to know the breakdown on Medial Mail and I seem to get everything but a simple answer.  I can put in the weight and get an answer, but I know there is a ounce cutoff for one price, then another price for the next weight.

For some reason I can find this.

I know someone here has the answer and it will be much faster than trying to find it on the website.

Thanks, Susie

You don't even need to bother with the USPS site. Just go up to PBS's Help Center and search for Current Postal Rates. The chart is right there :)

Thanks to both of you for your answers.  I didn't think of searching PBS instead of the Post Office.

But, I still wonder why using USPS is so difficult.  It is as if they do not want you to find the information you want.  I even call my local po sometimes and they say it is just as confusing for them.

Cute kitties...Susie

The PO is shifting over to almost all on-line for their manuals, etc.  Even internally (the intranet or Big Blue as they call it).  Trying to find an internal reference for something can also be very frustrating sometimes.  I always just considered the source but even when manuals such as the DMM were in print it was hard to find things at times.  I think the people who made the indexes never had to use the manuals.  :)

I know what you mean.  When we used to have the hard copy DMM, I had half a dozen bookmarks stuck in it that I would transfer over to the new one every time it updated, because some things were impossible to find in the Index.  I remember particularly SAM and PAL for the APO's.  One of them (forget which) just wasn't listed at all.
