I've been number 2 on a book for weeks.  Today I noticed on that book that it said wishes granted this week is 1.  If one wish was granted why didin't I move up to the number 1 spot?

The book was probably posted directly to someone's wish list, and that person was behind you in line.

Or someone had it on hold, came off hold in position #1, and got the copy.

That's what I did earlier this week for a book. So whoever was first and not on hold then moved to spot number 2 when I unheld the book. They then moved back to number 1 when I had a copy offered to me. To the person who is number 2, it would look like it does to you, that they should be 1st in line instead of still #2.

If someone is on vacation hold, yet some of their WL books are on auto-, I'm not sure they are accounted for when you are looking at your WL position. So if their position isn't counted, then that could be another reason.

My daughter's allergic to cigarette smoke so I have requirements asking that no books smelling of cig smoke be sent. If the person holding the book isn't sure they meet your conditions, they'll say it doesn't and the book goes to the next person.

I spent over a month in the number one slot and got skipped over numerous times, but I'm not about to take that condition down because I know if my daughter smells it she'll have allergies and migraines flare up and it's not worth it.
