Definitely a damsel in distress story. If you like your heroines pure and sweet, and a darkly handsome and desolute hero in need of reform, this is a good story for you! Kat Martin writes very "spicy" stories.

Great historical love story. Lead characters capture your heart. Elizabeth a young stong-willed, intelligent woman willing to sacrifice her social life for the love of Nicholas a peer of the realm but an outcast for murder even though he has paid for his so called crime. He is a very noble man but even honor cannot stand against this kind of love. You will love this book.
