I love this story
If you know The Wizard of Oz then you need to read the Witch's point-of-view

This was much more entertaining than I anticipated - - I completely forgot about my horrible commute while listening to this story. If you've seen the play "Wicked" this actually picks up before the play, when Elfaba was born, and gives a lot more background and detail, so it was just a fun time in my car. And it reminded me of how much fun it is to listen to a story. PS - not for children. Has a couple of juicy/naughty bits.

Really enjoyed this story a lot. I'd never thought of when she was born, how strange it was that she was born green. Just figured that OZ was a land of lots of different people, animals, creatures, colors. Shows the witch as a totally separate and unique "person". LOL Lots of story in this unabridged version. Good narrator too.
