This is one of the best revenge books I have read. Imagine...you meet a man, you fall in love, you get married, then wake up on the morning after to find your husband telling you it's over and that he never wants to see you again. That you were a pawn in his plan of revenge. That's what happened in this book. Ronan married Lily out of revenge to get back at her brother and then walks out on her. After a month gone, he shows up 'to see how she's doing.' He stays when he realizes that her brother has been there and during that time, there is a lot of arguing. Ronan finds out things he didn't know and Lily does as well.
I thought that Lily was too easy on Ronan when he comes back. She should have been harder and I think showed and expressed more anger than she did. This book touches on all human emotions. And when you're reading it, you will feel them all too well.
