Interesting account of a very interesting San Francisco man and his relationship with a flock of parrots.
I remember hearing about the Parrots of Telegraph Hill. I watched a show on them and I was intrigued and wanted to read the book. I got a couple pages in and could not take anymore. I wanted to know about the birds not the author. Maybe it is more about the birds further on but the books writing is so dry, I could not push myself to read anymore.
Beautiful, poignant, the human heart at its best.
abook on nature being every where not just in the country but also on how we see or maybe how little we see
A very amusing, interesting & educational book. The reading will teach, as well as tell a love story about wild parrots. The author is the observer; has written a wonderful account of his experiences with the beautiful wild parrots. A great read.
A modern-day St. Francis of Asissi lives in San Francisco and gets to know every detail in the lives of a flock of wild parrots.
