A coworker when I lived in Richmond raved about this book and said I HAD to read it, because I was depressed at the time. Well, i thought it was actually boring and would say there are a lot more worthwhile memoirs on the subject (but not Prozac Nation, didn't like that either LOL). Obviously the Bell Jar is great (albeit a novel).
