I never dreamed that I would like this book. I'm in a book club and this was the choice for the month, so I plunged right into it thinking I would hate it, BUT even today, I think of Toad with a smile. He's such a wild character. If you're interested in reading classics this is a must read and one that I think I'll want to read to my children. It's fun, whimsical, and again, love that crazy Toad.
It's a true classic! No matter how old you are It will take you back to a time in your childhood when everything was possible..If you believed the animals could talk and lived a life of adventure then you will enjoy this book...Well worth reading..
