This was a wonderful book. It's a very heart-felt story and a very easy read. I read it in a couple of hours. I couldn't put it down. I felt like I was right there with the main character.

This story is about a young girl and her Mother who get into a car accident. The accident left the girl blind and her Mother dead.

The story brings you into the girl's life after she gets out of the hospital/rehab. She has no mother and no home, but an agency is able to find a blood relative for the girl to live with. The girl moves in with the relative and starts school in the neighborhood.

In her new home, the girl, eventhough blind, can see things when she looks out her bedroom window. The girl can see into the past and watch her family members grow up. When looking through the window, secrets of her Mother's past and her family play, like a theatre production, in front of her.

The story addresses her struggles with moving, starting a new life, starting a life without her mother, her new blindness, her new school, etc.

It is a very heartfelt story. It brought to life the reality of blindness and death and how challenging this would truly be, especially for a young girl.

It's Wonderful and highly recommended!!
