This is a fun way to spend an evening with friends...eating and tasting new wines. We all enjoy the recommendations in each chapter and appreciate the variety of foods suggested for each wine.

love love love this book! i saw it at an overstock book store in atlanta while i was on vacation and figured id put it on my request list with PBS. I got it, read it, loved it and started my own wine club with my mom and sister!
i like how she suggests actual wines in all price ranges. i had to hunt down a few, but definitely worth it. she has great notes on tasting, i like that she includes actual recipes to use with each wine, and how the monthly type of wine goes with what is in season.
we use her suggestions for discussions and note taking on wine, and we've had a great time so far! i also like how she discusses wine lingo and that she puts in little tidbits about different wine trends.
