Hi Everyone, I'm reading On Wings of the Morning this past week and I'm nearly done. It takes place here in the US just before and during WWII and is about a boy and a girl who are both pilots. So far it's pretty good. Has anyone read it? and do you consider this historical fiction? I know a few people that don't really just because it's not "far enough" in the past. any thoughts?

I haven't read it, but I would consider it as H/F because it was written in our times, and not during the time of WWII. That's usually how I decide what is H/F, but it's not a definitive answer.

That's my opinion too on what it would be classified as...So far it's not bad. I'm nearly done with it now. it has kind of a weird twist towards the end that I didn't really see coming but still it's a fun read. I think it might be one of those stories that would actually make a better movie.
