I am a fan of Anne McCaffrey ~ I really enjoy all her books. This is early-McCaffrey and gives a basis for some of the concepts that grew into her later works, such as the Pern series. The concept is interesting: "talents" (people with extra-sensory perseptions and powers) learning to live with and use and grow with these talents in a technologically changing world. It is "light" scifi, has interesting and well developed characters, clever well thought concepts, and a clevedr plot.
To Ride Pegasus contains four stories set in the Pegasus/Talents series.
To Ride Pegasus
A Womanly Talent
Apple
A Bridle for Pegasus
"Apple" was originally published in the collection of short stories called Get Off the Unicorn (1977)
This omnibus also contains Pegasus in Flight

Interesting account of the evolution of parapsychic Talents from persecuted misfits to essential cogs in the wheels of interstellar civilization, by a very talented author of fantastic science fiction.
