I recently realized that Say No To Joe which is in my TBR pile is only one book in this series. I  have none of the other books so I'm wondering how important it is to read Fantasy, The Winston Brothers & Wild before I start Say No To Joe. I'm one of those types that needs to read series in order so if there is pertinent information in the prequels, I definitely want to read those first.

I've read them out of order and it really doesn't make a difference, IMO.  I do recommended reading them all of course, but then again I love LF.

Love both of those series!  I did read them in order, starting with The Winston Brothers (never heard of Fantasy- will have to see if I missed something there), but I think you could read the Visitation series, starting with Say No to Joe, without having read the Winston Brothers.  Joe is introduced in Wild and his story starts there, but you really wouldn't miss much if you didn't read Wild.  You could read the rest out of order, but characters from previous books do pop up, so you may miss some of the context.  If you do read them out of order, I would still save Jamie for last- there is too much that happens in the other books that you need on him for that book to make sense.  I'm like you- I really prefer to read things in order, and I waited to read this series until I had them all.  (Am doing the same thing with LF's Buckhorn Brothers series- only need 2 more of those!)  Anyway, I liked the WB and Wild, they were both quick reads, so I'd recommend them anyway, even apart from the Visitation series.

If you are looking to acquire the rest of the Visitation series, I have an unpostable of When Bruce Met Cyn that I would be happy to give you as a freebie with something else- it has a few wavy pages, but is in otherwise good shape, perfectly readable.

Love, love, love this series!!! I made the horrible mistake of reading Jamie first!! Needless to say, I went back, read them all in order and read Jamie again. lol

I agree that the Winston Brothers wouldn't have to be read first. Joe is the first in the Vistation series so you should be good to go.

Fantasy connects Cyn's sister? I think? It could be read on it's own though since its not connected to Visitation.

This link is from Foster's website and shows all the connections. lol It's hard to keep up!!

Oh no! There's more books than I thought. Thanks alot Collette! ;-)

Thanks Lesley for the offer. I'm going to hold off for now until I can get the first few books in the series since my credits are limited currently. I'll check back with you though.

::::::::::::walking away grumbling since my TBR is only going to get even bigger now::::::::::

I've read Fantasy and enjoyed it but since I haven't gotten to the other series in my mount TBR I dont know how they connect...the sister of the woman in Fantasy is named Shay(just checked teh first few pages to see) and she 'buys' the guy for her sister at a charity auction. Anyways, the sister had a rape or something in her past as her only 'experience' and this guy doesn't know that and thinks she's playing some kinda of sex game but when he finds out he lets her 'experiment' with him. I made the mistake of taking this one to work with me to read after boss left w hen we were having a slow time on day shift..big mistake! thought it would read like a quick harlequin..having read some of her other stuff I guess ths one was fairly mild but whew!
