I haven't read this book but it looks like a lot of good info. Never had the chance to do research because of pre premature menopause due to cancer. What fun!
Comprehensive ! If you only but one book on Women / Hormones / Menopause, this is it!
I was not happy with this book. I feel like Dr. Northrup was making excuses for her own life choices ie: divorce during menopause. I didnt read this book to hear her personal story, I expected as a Physician she would share practical information based on evidence based research. That was only done in 1/2 the book, the rest seemed to be based on her philosphy and personal beliefs. Dont waste your time on this one.
Very encouraging words of wisdom - I feel better about the next "phase" of life!
This is a really good reference for women on the verge of menopause. It has many useful tips and answers. It treats menopause as what it is, a natural stage of a woman's life. I highly recommend.
Started reading this book and quickly realized it doesn't come from a Christian world view. I am going to look for another resource book.
Dr. Northrup blames her divorce on her menopausal changes.
