My son and I really enjoyed this book. Bill Brittan did a great job weaving a story of wishes. It is true that you must be careful what you wish for. An enjoyable read!

50 cents seems a small price to pay for ANYTHING you ask for... but when anything literally means anything, the wishers learn to be cautious about their desires.

"Who can possibly resist a sign that declares, 'Thaddeus Blinn, I can give you whatever you ask for only 50 cents'? This tale of magic and suspense reveals how three young people have their wishes granted. The wish giver's literal interpretation of how they are worded makes a story too good to put down." --The Chicago Sunday Sun-Times
