I have only 198 books on my wish list, but when I try to add a book I get the message saying I can't add it because I can't have over 200. Has anyone else had this problem lately? If I delete a book I can add one, but only up to the 198 total.

Barbara,

I see 200 books on your WL.  Try re-sorting by title.  If you have it sorted by author, it may not be picking up two books.

Do you have your list sorted by title or by something else - author maybe?  A lot of times when someone has this problem, it's because the list has been sorted by some different criteria.

It's strange! No matter how I sort the list it says I have 198 books, but when I clicked on the Wish List button  on my post here it said 200. I'll try logging out and in again.

Somehow you have 2 books on your Wish List twice (identical, not different ISBNs). You'll probably need to send in Feedback and ask the team to look at them.

The Crocodile Family Book (The Animal Family Series)
Author: Mark Deeble, Victoria Stone   ISBN-13: 9781558582637 - ISBN-10: 1558582630

and

Japan: The Culture (Lands, Peoples, Cultures (Turtleback))
Author: Bobbie Kalman   ISBN-13: 9780606253789 - ISBN-10: 0606253785

I also had this problem recently.  I had one book (same ISBN) listed four times...no idea how that happened.  But once I removed the excess copies my wishlist would accept more entries.

Thanks for all the good advice and especially to Melanie for doing the detective work for me. :)

Not much work at all .Since I've seen it before, whenever someone posts about it, I go to their Wish List and hit the Download button. That dumps it all to Excel. I resort the data by the 13-ISBN and then scroll down until I see duplicates. Takes just a couple of minutes.

Thanks for the personal experience Denise. Since it is a system glitch, I always hesitate to tell someone to just delete the extra listings in case it removes all copies.

i've had that happen too, but i couldn't figure out any way to see the duplicates (same thing 3 times).  i sent in a Contact form and they fixed it for me.

Barbara, do you have any friends or relatives IRL who are also PBS members?  When my WL got to 200, my DD, who had a shorter wish list, wishlisted some books for me on her WL, and when my WL got smaller, I put them back on my WL and told her to delete them from hers.  I've done the same for her in the past.

Peggy, unfortunately I don't. Good suggestion though! Thanks :)
