I was very excited to see my hardcover copy of Blink by Malcolm Gladwell on it's way to me! Accepted, label printed and mailed all this morning. Looks like the member joined today and posted my book. Downside? I saw more than one other book on his shelf that I would have ordered with this one! I'm still keeping most of my WL on auto, though.

Auto request YES! My whole WL is auto-requested. I very rarely order books from the PBS system anymore, unless it's a series book I need the next one of, so even if something looked "interesting" on the bookshelf, most likely I would not order it until the time when I know I was getting ready to read that book.

I am in serious "pare down the TBR" mode and have reduced my WL from always being at 200 to around 150 now...the books that are on my WL are things I REALLY want so there's no reason NOT to auto-request.

I have WL books where I'm close to number one on auto.  I know that I have made the decision as to whether to post a WL book FIFO or not by if it was on auto so I could mail it without having to go through days or weeks of having requests time out.

I have all my books on auto-request. I lost too many chances on getting a wishlist book before. Won't happen again.

Per suggestion by members here, I just put a bunch of my WL books on auto since I missed out on a book this past weekend.  Lately I have been hitting #1 on a lot of my books and am always looking at the bookshelves since I have a healthy balance of credits so this may backfire for me too.  But since I have 100+ in TBR pile guess I should lay low and not order any more for a while !

All but one of my WL books are on auto.  I don't want to take a chance of missing one.

All my WL books are on auto-request because I want them all. Why slow down the FIFO line if you know you want the book?

I love the auto request feature!  All of my WL books are on auto request.  It's great that the system will order books for me and it's a nice surprise to see that a WL book is headed my way.

Mine are on auto.  I don't order a lot of books these days since I fell in love with my Kindle, but I have a handful of WL books, mostly for my kids...rather than miss it, I keep it on auto.

Not on auto here. I have an RC for specific books that I want to be able to turn off for other books so that I won't get turned down because someone misunderstands my RC and thinks it applies to everything I order.

yes Cathy: "All my WL books are on auto-request because I want them all. Why slow down the FIFO line if you know you want the book?"

I wish more people would have this concern for the overall health of the club.
