I received this book sometime ago and just got around to reading it. I did flip through it when I received it and it looked like it was in pretty good condition. When I started reading this book on page one, there is a black mark that is small and doesn't block any words. I have finished reading the book and that was the only mark in the whole book.

My question is, can I repost this book?

Is the black mark actually a stain of some kind, or does it look like a printing error? If it is not an actual stain then it should be perfectly fine to post.

It does not look like a stain as it does not go through the thin pages of this paperback. It very much looks like it could have been a printing error, although I am not an expert in these kinds of things.

My personal opinion is...that I would probably repost it.  Sounds like some kind of ink mark.

I've got a book that has some printing "blogs/lines" and I wouldn't hesitate to post them.  It sounds like it is a printing error to me

I've been finding more ink drops and lines than ever before recently...must be part of the economic woes!

To me a stain is some kind of liquid or dirt or food or obviously foreign substance on the book. That's not postable.

But, yours sounds more like a "mark" on the page than a "stain". I think its postable.

Thank you all for your responses. Even the paper they are printing paperback books seems thinner than other books. It's amazing that they charge more for books and want to save money on paper and ink.
