In the wish list, some books have an estimate on how long it should take to receive an offer of a book according to your wish list position for that book and how many copies were posted in the last week. My question is, what is a week according to the PBS system? Are the estimates recalculated daily, once per week on Sunday, Monday, or ? Does anyone here know? Thanks!

I have had the same question, Sava, I'm hoping someone knows. Hate to add this question, but i'm going to. Same question, but different area. When does the 7 day period start in the 'Top 50's" list?

I don't know for sure .. .but it seems to me that on the WL, the "week" is the previous 7 days. I think I have seen the numbers change more than once a week for some of my books.

I think they might update that once a day.

I also believe the same for the "Top 50s" list. I think its the previous 7 days, updated once a day.

Could be wrong because I've never studied this, but that is what I think I've seen.

It is the number of books posted in the last 7 days.

Not sure about the top 50s but the wishlist is always the previous 7 days, it changes every day.

Thanks for the responses. I'll be on the lookout for a change in status.

That wishlist estimate thing is about the most worthless thing I've seen here, IMO. I suppose if I had more books wishlisted that were popular and posted several times a week it might make more sense, but 95% of my WL has "N/A" there, and even most of those that had a book posted last week still have N/A...there's only couple where more than one copy has been posted recently where there is an estimate of (for example) 4 weeks or whatever...but I'm not holding my breath. LOL
