We are going on a vacation, I will put my bookshelf on vacation hold. Can I still recieve books off my wish list while I am gone? I have the credot tto cover any books on my wish list.  My mail is droped in the house, so books are safe, but I will not have a computer to let PBS know that I have recieved the books till I return in a month. If you set the Wish List books to auto-request = yes, then the system will automatically order for them even with your shelf on vacation hold

If you will not be able to acknowledge receiving books for a full month, I would recommend having your WL held too. Not marking any books you received for a month seems a little unfair to the senders.

I'm with Melanie. It's not really fair to make someone wait for their credit or possibly have a lost book on their record because you are on vacation.

If it was only a week or two then I would say go ahead and autoreqeust. But a month is too long.

Yes, that is unfair not to mark books for a month, so my friend is going to check my mail and mark the books for me if I recieve any books. Charle

Another option is to add an RC to your autorequest books. I did this when I went away for 6 weeks, and got two books with PBS DC +/- postage

It read something like:

This is an auto-request for a WL book.

I will be gone for <time>, but someone will be available to receive the books. I plan on marking books received when I return on <date>

Please consider using PBS DC +/- postage if you wish to get your credit quickly or kindly decline the request.
