Can a person check other's wish-list to see if they have any of the books? My wish-list isn't coming alone so great.

You can see other member's wishlists by going to their profile and then you'll see a link.  However, if you want to know if you have books that are on other people's wishlists the easiest way to do that is from your TBR list.  You'll see a W next to books on your TBR list that are wishlisted by other members.  Some people find this helpful in deciding what to read next because if you choose one of those books then you know it will get requested as soon as you post it.  Right now I'm very low on points so I'm trying to do that so that i can build up my points again.

Did that answer your question?

I did look at your WL and from my own personal experience I'll tell you that it is much slower to get non-fiction WL books than it is to get fiction ones.  Seems folks aren't as willing to let go of their good non-fiction stuff.  :-)

I agree with Lisa. Nonfiction books do seem to take longer than fiction.  I checked your wish list and many of the books are either on mine or I have already got them through PBS. Just give it some time. It seems like I go through a "dry" spell with no wishlist books coming to me for a month or two  and then I get two or three or more almost at the same time. (Sorry, I won't be reposting the Joyce Meyer tapes and books. They are on my keeper shelf.)

Thanks Lisa and Diane for replying. I just hope that someone who have the books on their bookshelf will come on and send me the books that's on my wish-list. Just wishful thinking:-)

Wow, I didn't know Joyce Meyer books were so popular! I see a ton of them at the thrift stores around here, but since I don't read her books I never pick them up. I'll keep an eye out for them the next time I go, and I'll let you know. :-)

I see a ton of them at Goodwill here too (Joyce Meyer). And for the ultra frugal, my library has all of her books.

I never seen any of her books whenever I visit the thrift store. Thanks for that information. I will be on the look out next time.
