I wish there was a way to refund our money when postage is printed by accident.  I was printing postage for an order when the site froze up.  I wound up having the postage deducted twice.  With the postage getting so expensive, there should be a way to refund a mistake.  Who gets the extra money, anyway?

If you contact PBS immediately after it happens they 'might' be able to assist you. I'm not certain, but perhaps it's possible they can catch it quickly enough.

I think that if the tracking numbers on the two labels are different there is a way to take the label to the post office and try for a refund there. If it can be done it will probably take a long time.

Do contact PBS. (Bottom of the page, Contact Us.) There were server delays over the weekend. Postage was timing out. If it shows the one order as having two receipts, you should be able to get a refund. If it reprinted without a second charge, that is how it should have worked. 

PBS should be able to handle this with the postage provider. 

If we make a mistake, there is is only a short window for PBS to get it fixed. After that, the money is transferred. But if it was a site and server issue? Then PBS should take it up with the postage provider.

I've had this happen but using the 'contact us' button  TPTB cancelled one of the postage printings remibursing my account in the process. They were  very helpful if not terribly quick about it.

I sent a feedback yesterday and have received my refund today!!  It's nice to know how responsive the team is.
