I've been urging my husband to finish a book because it had 1 wisher and I wanted to post it. Well, I posted it last night and it shows up on my bookshelf. There's no wishlist hold or anything in my account. When I click on the title, the book still shows to have 1 wisher. Can somebody clue me in? ;)

Is there a little grey (!) next to the book on your shelf indicating that it is in the 1-hr hold? Auto-requested WL books don't show up in the Hold tab.

If what Melanie suggested is not the case, it probably is because your book and the wished-for book have different ISBNs.  Either that or someone posted the book just before you and so the wisher already had their wish granted.

Well, thanks for the info. I didn't know that stuff. I guess I'll never know what happened because the book got requested a few minutes after I posted my question. LOL

Thanks y'all!

Yeah, if that's the case, it sounds like Melanie was right - the book was on autorequest, which has a one hour hold before it is requested from you.
