I had two versions of a (fairly obscure) book on my wishlist. I was position 1 on both verisons. I was just offred, and accepted, the less preferred version. I thought I would take it for now, and repost it when I received the newer version.

However, after accepting one version, the other version is now showing as "on hold" on my wishlist - despite the fact it is on auto-request.

My question, is, how do I get this version off-hold. My concern is that if is gets listed at the moment, will it be offered to thepersion in place 2?

At the bottom/top of your wish list there are little buttons for auto/ hold/ unhold/delete. Check the box next to the title of your book then scroll either up or down to the end of the list and click the unhold button

What you've noticed Linda is a fairly recent site upgrade, as members were accidentally receiving multiple copies of books (wait months then two are posed the same day lol).  In these cases, the system now places alternate versions of the book on hold but it's easy to over-ride if you wish...just follow Jolene's directions!

Thankyou Jolene, (and Denise). Your directions worked perfectly. Before posting my question, I had put the book on auto-request to see if that helped (obviously, it didn;t) yet, somehow i failed to see the hold/unhold button right next to the auto request one. I didn't think I was blind - but..............LOL
