Received a wishlisted book that binding has seperated from the first 2 pages. Actually it is the Acknoledgements Page, The chapter 1 page (nothing on front) but on back begins chapter one. Not completely seperated though. Thoughts??? I received the book a while ago and I'm not too worried about getting my credit back. Thoughts on reposting???

I always feel that if I have any doubts about a book, I probably should not post it. You can always offer it free with a request from your shelf when you are done.

Non-text pages can be missing from the book and it remains postable. (so if non-text pages are loose, they can be neatly removed).

Your book sounds like a text page is affected, though. Which would make it unpostable.

Offer it in the Bazaar for a credit. As long as someone who wants it knows that it is unpostable, it's perfectly OK. Or you could offer it free if you want.

What you describe sounds clearly unpostable to me.

From the Help Center:

Binding:

  • Must be intact, with no separation on the inside or outside of the book
  • If the book tends to open at a particular page, this is OKAY
  •  Small amount of fraying or denting at top or bottom is OKAY

Pages:

  • No torn or chewed/gnawed pages
    • yes, that does say "chewed/gnawed".  That means no pet-chewed (or human-chewed) books.
  • No loose or missing text pages
  •

Okay - thanks for the help everyone. I am going to go with un-postable just to be safe.
