This is something that came up last week. In two cases folks found two items on their wishlists from books I posted. As a result, the requests all came in separately (four requests). If I hadn't been paying attention and consolidated the shipments, it would have cost me more. Is there anyway for wishlists requests to be consolidated? Or does it rely on the requester sending a PM to the sender? |

It depends on the requester clicking on the "order more from this member" button. |

Were the books related? I had 3 books that had WL waits for them that were part of a series. I posted the 1st one only. When the person accepted I checked their WL and posted the other 2 so I could send them to the same person. I PM'd that person first to make sure they wanted all 3. I don't know if I was technically supposed to do that. But it was a lot easier to send them in one package. |

Huh. I thought this was so. Thanks folks! |

Sometimes it doesn't even consolidate if you DO click 'order more from member' ... but it certainly doesn't if you don't. And anything that automatically triggers from a wishlist is going to print with a separate label, regardless. I find it's worth my while, if I've gotten a bunch of requests at once, to load up all the PDFs and *look* at them before I actually print them ... to check where they're all going. The downside of bundling requests manually is that, if you use DC for quick credit, you only get ONE credit when the parcel clears, at least until the person gets them and clicks 'received'. |
