If you fid this book to be a "yawn", try reading Heartlight first. It will be a bit of a spoiler for the rest of the series, but then this and the others in the Light series will flesh out subplots from a different character's point of view. Witch Hill, The Inheritor, Ghostlight, Witchlight and Gravelight all expand on characters and plots from Heartlight, which is a page-turner. I was up til 2 am to finish it. Once you get to know Colin MacLaren, Witch Hill will take on a whole new perspective.

I found this book to be a bit strange, but okay. I gave it two 1/2 stars. Does have a bit of sex in it, nothing to wierd. Witchcraft themed.

Yawn. I do like MZB, but this book was just depressing, and I sort of like ribs - not much meat. I made about it through about 30 pages, then skipped to the last page to see how it ended.
