Maybe you've heard about the girl who was so bashful she went into the closet to change her mind. How about the son who said he'd grown a foot since he'd joined the army...so his mother knit him another sock?

Most jokes are as sold as the hills and twice as dusty, but we just keep laughing at them. And sometimes the ones that split your sides send your friends running for the door. Whether you groan or giggle, guffaw or grunt, folklore is full of puns, riddles, jokes, and jests-guaranteed to trip your trigger.

Mine has different ISBN number. Same book though. Illustrated by Glen Rounds.
Everybody likes a good joke, but the same story that sends one person into hysterical laughter may leave someone else staring at the wall. In this collection of jokes and jests there's something to make everybody laugh, along with some good explanations about what humor is and why we find it funny.

I think it's sad that you can't give a no-star rating.
