This was a good book from Amber Frey's perspective. I'm sort of surprised, though, it took her as long as it did to not put the pieces together that there was something seriously wrong with Scott but I guess she was blinded by love. I didn't know it had been such a short time that they were even seeing one another before Laci and Conner turned up missing. I was so glad to see how Amber helped the police with the investigation by talking to Scott to try to coax information from him. Overall, it was a good and easy read. I read it in one night because I just couldn't put it down.

Even though I had followed the Peterson story from the beginning, it was still fascinating to read Amber Frey's account of her daily involvement and her life before and since.

Really sad read. It's horrible how you can think about a person one way and then find out something horribly different. It makes you wonder who you can really trust.
