Sybelle Fitzgerald, the daughter of a wealthy English lord, is taken hostage by Rolf O'Dalaigh, the lord of Ireland, because he believes Sybelle's father has abducted his cousin. This historical is written like the "good old bodice ripper" romances. After he forces himself on her, he can't get her out of his mind. His clan sign is the Wolf who mates for life. Of course, it takes him some time to come to grips with the fact that he loves her and she him. The servants, siblings, and others all play wonderful parts in this sweeping story.
