This author has an imagination! It had a little something for everyone: mythology, sex, adventure, action, history. Kind of a cross between Wolverine, James Bond and Inglorious Bastards. I've never read anything quite like and enjoyed it immensely. It's very fast-paced with a hero you love who is British spy/werewolf/ladies man during Hilter's reign. It actually has a story within a story as throughout the book it goes back in time to explain how he became a werewolf and the life he had before becoming a spy. Loved every minute of this thrilling tale.

by no means great literature--but a fun book with an engaging story with werewolves-if you want fun and entertaining, you could do a lot worse.

The Allies Face Disaster. But one man could rip the heart out of the Nazis-with his bare claws...

He is Michael Gallatin, master spy-and werewolf. Able to change shape with lightning speed, to kill silently or with savage, snarling fury. He has already proved his lethal talents against Rommel in Africa. Now he faces his most perilous mission: to unravel the secret Nazi plan known as 'Iron Fist.' From a parachute jump into occupied France to the festering corruption of Berlin, from the arms of a beautiful female agent to the cold embrace of a madman's death machine. Gallatin draws ever closer to the horrific truth about Iron Fist. But with only hours to D-Day, he is trapped in the Nazis' web of destruction...

Internationally bestselling author Robert R. McCammon breaks the mould of the werewolf novel with THE WOLF'S HOUR. Here is an amazing tale that combines pulse-pounding excitement with a fascinating portrait of the werewolf as noble warrior--and soul in conflict. (back cover)

A whole new take on the werewolf. I have read this book several times. Had a copy of my own but somehow it got lost so found another one on this website. I know that I will read this again and again.

I love Robert McCammon! The Matthew Corbett series is fantastic and this book is every bit as good as those. If you like werewolves and World War II stories, you will absolutely love this book; don't hesitate to read it!
