Wow. I was kinda afraid that this, being the first of the ‘new’ Dark Tower books wouldn’t have the magic of the previous ones, especially the last one. Boy, I couldn’t have been more wrong. This one is fantastic, in all the connotations of the word.

Another good, solid King read. Well written, characters fleshed out more. Liked the pop culture references, showing how/where the Gunslingers' world crosses over with ours. Will have to reread some other King novels that use the same characters!
