I'm not sure why this book didn't get good ratings from previous readers. This was my first read by DiAnn Mills and I have another new favorite author! I loved this book! Sage is a strong-willed woman out to find the men who took her life away from her. This is a great book filled with mystery, love, and suspense. I highly recommend it!

Loved this book! Sage lost the love of her life, her child, and nearly her life to outlaws. She recovers and goes after the killers, not even knowing who they are. As a bounty hunter, she crosses paths with them after several years. Lots of adventure and suspense. The townspeople are something else, especially the minister. The ending was a total surprise. Highly recommend, especially if you like historical romance.

This is a great book! I loved the characters especially Sage! She is one tough bounty hunter! I also loved Parker, the town marshal with high hopes of becoming a senator or even governor. Sage just knew she could never fit into Parker's world...after all, she was just a half Indian bounty hunter bent on revenge. Parker had no such reservations! He saw the strong and kind-hearted woman that Sage could not see. Excellent story down to the last page!
