Accepted by the La Leche League group. Seems to have the same info as the 7th edition, I scanned through both before I bought it. Some info is outdated in my opinion, but it was all the same from edition to edition.It does tend to answer questions at 3 am when all your friends are asleep and you hate to wake them with a problem. Definitely a good one to keep on your shelf for reference.

If you are considering breastfeeding - this is an EXCELLENT book! I also recommend anything by Jack Newman!
