I just got back from a women's retreat that we had this weekend.  I am so happy I was able to go, because I needed it.  I mean, I really, really needed it.  I feel like I had so many prayers answered while I was there, and have just been able to see things so much clearer.  My biggest prayer in going was not to let me leave there unchanged, and I definitely feel like it was answered.

I just wanted to share that praise, and say that God is good.  He is soooo good!  Thanks for listening, and happy Sunday!

And just to top it off, I was sure my period was going to start just before I left, I was crampy and everything, but while I was there, I had no cramps, no period or anything.  Almost the minute I got home, my period started.  What a blessing that I was able to enjoy the weekend.  It was awesome!

I have never been on a women's retreat. It sounds like this was a wonderful weekend for you. I am glad that it left you recharged.

It was at the Homestead in Midway.  It's so beautiful up there.  Do you know where that is, Nancy?  You can get to it by going through Provo canyon, or coming down past Park City (I think).

I attended a women's retreat last fall that was just awesome!  What made it extra special was that my best friend, who had just moved away, was able to come back and attend.  It was a special time with her and the Lord!

Yes, Brenda, I do know where it is, though I haven't been there in years,  The last time was to ride horses................the retreat would be so much better!

My sister treated me to a weekend women's retreat put on by the women's ministry at her church, in April.  It was such a blessing to me.   PLUS it was a lot of fun and it was sooooooo wonderful to spend a whole weekend with other Christian women.   I was blessed as was everyone there.

I love women's retreats. Especially when I'm not in charge :)

Melissa, I remember you talking about being in charge of your women's retreat not too long ago.  After being to one, I can't imagine being the one in charge of everything (or even part of one).  It's awesome that you were willing to do that, though, because I'm sure you helped uplift the lives of other women.  :)

Kim....how does that work?  Did your DH sneak in? You were a naughty girl! ; )

Actually my sister and brother in-law went to a couples retreat, but they were seperated for a couple days at first. Is that what it was?
