I'm not a vet, and I don't know any members who happen to be one.

I was going to say though, that if you're worried about your dog having eaten something that might make her sick, then I'm sure you could call a local vet and just talk to them.  I know my vet is very good with callers when they call to ask an opinion.  Even the vet techs often have good advice.  They may just be able to advise you on what you should do.

Try this website for the Animal Poison Control Center.

I've used it before...

Hope your pet doesn't get sick.

PS...there is an 888 phone number too.

I'm not a vet.  I do know that we have had at least one person who is a vet post in response to some pet threads on the CMT board.  I'd suggesting asking again there.

My advice, for what it's worth - Keep a close eye on the dog.  If it's something that you think may or may not pass through, watch for vomitting.  If the dog often appears to try to have a bowel movement but doesn't, that could be a sign of obstruction.
