I'm a substitute Rural Mail Carrier and worked at our Post Office for almost 4 years, then in December i was promoted to a larger mail route (66.7 miles) with a pay increase. I took the job knowing the regular carrier took alot of vacation time. What i didn't know was that she decided after years of putting it off, to have surgery on her rotator cuff (shoulder), she had surgery January 24th. Cool, 6 weeks of full time work, or so i thought. Turns out she had more damage to her shoulder than the doctors originally predicted and had a more intensive surgical repair to her shoulder  which will now keep her off work for 12 WEEKS! To keep me from being overwhelmed my boss has another substitute working 2 days a week for me. He's not so reliable and calls in sick alot. Not to mention all this snow in Wisconsin is killing me!!! I've already scratched my car and ripped my side mirror off trying to get to mailboxes that are not shoveled well enough or have ice patches in front of them. UGH!

I miss reading, but i just cannot get into a book right now because i am spending all my spare time keeping up with the house, laundry, running errands and helping the kids with homework. I miss hanging out here on the message boards too! So if i am missing more than usual you will know why.

I noticed someone had " A Wild Yearning" by Penelope Williamson listed on their wishlist. I have that book here at home, if you could hang on for a little while longer i might be able to mail it to someone. I didn't want to list it because i want to offer to someone on the Romance forum first and if i posted the book it might go to someone else's automatic wish list. know what i mean?

Anyway, i miss you all, sorry i am rambling on!

I've been wondering where you've been Tanya!  Good to have the full time work but boo on the no reading time.
