We loved this book for our homeschooling. Concise and complete it goes from the ancient world to the modern world. Each chapter gets right to the point. Dates are not given for useless memorization but so you can fit people and events into a time frame.
There are chapter reviews, questions - How much do you remember, questions, What do you think where students can formulate their opinions, lots pof illustrations, charts, photos and maps. Each chapter also has highlights, interesting articles in colored boxes that make it more exciting. It is is presented and has a section explaining that the Bible is our guide to history and provides the principles that help us to better understand and interpret historical events. He controls history. It reveals the conflict between God and Satan, between righteousness and unrighteousness, and between the godly and ungodly. A great textbook. Used it with all 3 of my girls.
