The Wounds of God - Hawk and the Dove, Bk 2
Author: Penelope Wilcock
These captivating tales of monastic life are stories of disillusionment, grief, and despair, as well as hope amid trial, and all consuming love of a passionate and tender God. Rich with imagery and emotion, they reflect the timeless human drama of people learning to love and receive God's grace. Sequel to The Hawk and the Dove.

I so highly value this book. It is a story of 12th century monks who are just trying to learn how to love God and one another. They often fail. And they just as often rise again through love and forgiveness. The characters are realistic, the psychology is insightful, and God is honored. The whole series of books are of equal value.
