I got a book mailed via media mail in 2 days flat from MD to FL !   My daughter lives in MD and since she's an English teacher, I send her lots of books via media mail and they usually take a week at least!  Somehow this one hopped the first class plane I think!

I've had this happen a couple times between Florida and California.  Always a nice surprise to see the book arrive two days after I sent it or vice versa.

Jeanne--I know what you mean.  Even though I live in Northern California, almost all the books I send out make their way to Bell Gardens in Southern California first.  I see a scan for Bell Gardens, and then it can be several days before another scan someplace else.  I realize that the book probably isn't just sitting in Bell Gardens but slowly making it's way across country--but it sure does feel like it's sitting in the black hole of Bell Gardens! :-)

Bell Gardens -is- a black hole.  Whenever a book of mine goes there, it's gone for at least a week. Minimum.  And lots of my books unfortunately hit Bell Gardens, as I live in southern Cali.
