If no one replies who knows, just ask PBS.

Unless you see a number are wishlisted, I'd suggest offering them in the book bazaar. That way you can describe the issue easily. My guess would be that they're not in high demand and you're not likely to unload them without a deal anyway, though I certainly could be wrong.

Willa, I thought probably no one would have wish listed them; but I was wrong when I finally pulled a list to see.  i realize a wish list when you are talking about no /ISBNs aren't  at all reliable - no way to hook up between the wish list and the posted list that I can see (course I'm new at this).

But the good thing that came out of this forum is that I had a request for 16 of these - that means I still have 32 books and  an Omnibus left.

I will  list them in the Book Bazaar when I have more time - right now crop harvest has to come first.

THANKS!

Sandy

I'm glad you found some takers. I had a bad experience with some old romances -- they had a ton of Betty Neel at the library sale, so I noted the wishlisted ones and bought them.  I think only one of them actually wound up getting requested -- the other wishes all just expired. They were only a dime, but it soured me a little. ;-)

Before I decided to become a member here, I quite often visited a used book store that traded.

I was looking for an old Margaret Way book at the time and she said she could probably help me if I wanted a Betty Neels old book - had been having a lot of requests for them and when they came in she held them back knowing that they would eventually be asked for - that was earlier this year.

I think such things run in cycles - popular for a while - then they're not - then it cycles again.

One of the ladies that requested some Mary Burchell says that is what is happening with her books, she is being discovered by younger readers.  The bio on this author shows what an amazing lady she was in helping others; much to her own detriment.
