A member ordered a book, and the address label was printed with the postage and delivery confirmation.  Then the member requested that the book be sent to another address!

So, can you just type in the correct address and tape it over the first one?  It's not reusing postage.

I don't see why not although postage is based on zip code.  So if the zip is different I would check to make sure the postage amount isn't more. If it is because it's going to a dif state then you can just add a stamp.

Yeah, I've done it before with no problem, but I didn't want to advise someone to do it until I just checked around :)

if you are mailing media mail it doesn't matter where it is going because the cost is the same no matter what, First Class may be different based on zip code.  you can always add a stamp if it is more...although, does the DC think it is going one place and would that cause any problems?  probably not, just something I thought of just now.

First class postage is the same no matter where it is going, too.  The different amounts of postage depending on the addresses only applies to Parcel Post and Priority Mail, not Media or First Class.
