I came home after my first day back in class after spring break to find THREE books waiting for me.  They were all in GORGEOUS condition and beautifully packaged.  I received A Mind To Murder by P.D.James, The Shaman's Bones by James D. Doss, and Calumet City by Charlie Newton.

I LOVE this place!

I received three books in one day last week. It was a great day then as well! :)

Is this the continuation of our 'wish list gone wild" thread from the weekend? LOL I got two beautiful books today too--one of them from LeeAnne, and she got one of mine so we did a 'true swap' that coincidentally concluded on the same day.  And my wishlist continues to go nuts...I have 6 books on the way and another two that came up within the last 24 hours, waiting to be mailed. Of course I have already filled most of the WL spots left available by this bodacious bounty of books! Keep 'em coming, folks! :-)

I received five. Gloat.  I've been spring cleaning/clearing of my bookcases before postal rates go up.

None of mine were WL books (I wish though!). One was on my RL and the other two were because I'd read one book from the author and now I want to read more!

Spuddie, there are always so many complaints about book condition, packing problems, mailing issues, etc. (I confess I'm guilty at times!) that I thought it would be nice to post a happy thread about PBS. It really is an amazing site/service.

Great idea LeeAnn, thanks!  Think I received 5 and they were all excellent or like new condition, with no packaging issues.

I got a dozen books yesterday (a record for me!) -- my husband laughed about how many trips it took him to bring in my mail! And yes, they were all packaged well, and in great condition. I love this place and it's members!

LeeAnne, I agree--usually the threads we see are people complaining about 'bad' books they got and asking how to deal with things. It's good to mention once in awhile that the great majority of book swaps go just fine and the books involved are in great shape. I have gotten so many like-new books here over the years (and sent out just as many!) that it still amazes me.

I got four wishlist books yesterday (3 of them I'd been waiting for since last summer), plus 3 books in great condition! I love coming home to a pile of books!

Awesome! And, good to hear after your recent run of bad luck.

I love receiving books in the mail. Yes, it really is like an "un-birthday." Fun, fun, fun.

What does beautifully packaged mean? Gift wrapped?
