I am new to the site so maybe that is why I get so exhilarated when a book comes. What ever the reason I am very happy to have received Outlander today. I have heard so many good things about it. I can't wait to start it! :)

I got a HUGE bunch of books the other day, and I told Monica (who sent them) that it was like Christmas!

Yeah, I love getting little square white packages in the mail. It brightens up my day. It's nice to get something other than bills every once in a while.

Love getting books!!!  I actually jump my husband when he brings in the mail when he comes home at night.  But if there are no books in his hand, I just kind of wave as we pass in the hallway :p

I opened up my mailbox today and there was a huge priority bag full of swag from the Rt convention in Pittsburg that a very kind pbs member sent me. Everything from sexy EC playing cards to cell phone charms and chocolate!! So many new authors and books to look over! It was Christmas here today, too!

I second sara's comment.  It takes a while to really get into Outlander, but once it does it just sucks you into "Outlander World" and doesn't let go.  Jamie Frasier is an absolutely to-die-for hero and I love Claire too.

You develop an obsession with the book and a burning desire to read the whole series.  Trust me, it's that good.   How many other books have their own fan websites?

I haven't started it yet. I am in the middle of finals (I am old and still in school), so I don't want to get obsessed until I am finished for the semester. :)
